Alexa Meade

Artist Alexa Meade paints directly on her models/settings to make it look like a painting come to life! The effect is like something I have never seen before! Check out her website here: http://www.alexameade.com/index.html

Art History

Daniel Lee

"Rabbit"

"Manimals" photo-manipulation by photographer and artist Daniel Lee. Freaky, yet awesome. Check it out for yourself: http://thechive.com/2008/12/29/manimals-by-artist-and-photographer-daniel-lee-12-photos/

Caravaggio

Caravaggio - "Concert of Youths (The Musicians)" ca. 1595-96

Caravaggio put himself in the painting. He is the middle figure draped in the beautiful red sash. Is it just me, or was Caravaggio a total babe?

Warm Lighting Portrait

My reference photo for my upcoming warm lighting painting assignment. I love the cool lighting one as well but it's a tad blurry. I can work with it but I won't be showing the photo of it. You will all just have to wait for the painting :]

Katherine Murray

May we just take a moment to bask in the glory of my younger sister, Katherine's sheer awesomeness at art? Okay. Now just another moment more.... Ah! She is so good! I love her, I love her work and I love that she keeps me on my toes! See more of her awesomeness (work) here: http://kuthinks.deviantart.com/
